Every year at this time various organizations,
hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, groups, associations
and whole neighborhoods in Puerto Vallarta
and the surrounding areas participate
in the processions to the city's principal
Church of Our Lady Of Guadalupe
in one of Puerto Vallarta's main attractions
and festivals.

Many dozens of groups of dancers take
to the streets during the Guadalupe celebrations
and are roundly applauded after their
performances.
As the processions pause along calle
Juarez, which is closed in the evenings,
they perform for several minutes at
a time.

How festive and colorful the crowds
- one of the enjoyable attractions and fun things to see and do

in Puerto Vallarta at this time of
the year.

 Late evening festivities include lots
of street food at the one of the downtown stands and visiting

among family and friends - catching
a bite to eat on Iturbide street during the yearly Virgin of Guadalupe event

The main plaza in downtown Vallarta
is full of people many nights and has many vendors selling food, desserts,

 souvenirs, sweets and trinkets during
 the celebrations

grant us that we always remain firm in faith
and serve with sincere love our brothers..."

The processions all go down or up Juarez
street to the downtown Cathedral entrance -

These twelve days of events during
the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in gay-friendly Puerto Vallarta

are among the most beloved of all the
city's tourist attractions and are attended
 by many thousands of participants,
locals and foreign visitors.

Along the main downtown malecon boardwalk
during this time of year one finds many people out walking
 and such traditional Christmas decorations
 as these adorning the city

For the final night of December 12,
the streets of downtown and the main plaza area packed
with many thousands of people in procession
and as bystanders
