1. Gay
Hotel - South Side
This well known gay hotel is four
blocks to the beach and has twenty rooms. All the standard rooms and suites
have air conditioning, private bath, telephone and cable television. Some
rooms with balconies. There is daily maid service for all rooms. A small
continental breakfast is included. There is a rooftop dipping pool and
terrace with a bar open Noon-9:00 p.m. that has a view of all Banderas
Bay and which is popular at sunset. A free Mexican buffet with tostadas/burritos
is served 6:00-8:00pm daily. A short walk to the gay bars and main South
Side restaurants and stores; up a number of stairs from beach level.
Accepts VISA and MasterCard.

#1 Gay Hotel - South Side
2. Gay
Hotel - South Side at Los Muertos Beach
Beach front six-story gay hotel
with forty rooms and suites equipped with air conditioning, private bath,
ceiling fans, telephone, private balconies and cable TV. Some units have
small kitchenettes. There is a rooftop bar, dipping pool and sun deck terrace
with vistas of the entire bay. Maid service daily. Located directly behind
the gay beach at the blue chairs, the resort also has a full service restaurant
and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Accepts VISA and MasterCard.
#2 Gay Beach Hotel - South Side
3. Gay-Friendly
Condo/Apartment Complex - South Side
Thirty five units in this 47-unit
ten story condo/apartment building are gay managed. Most one bedroom
units have a double bed and are approximately 700 sq. ft. with balcony,
kitchenette, a/c, two bathrooms and a living room with a double sofa bed
as well (except 902). There is a large swimming pool on the ground
level. Located one block behind the gay beach, a short walk to the gay
bars and South Side shops and restaurants. Bay view from nearly all units,
with the full Banderas Bay seen from middle and upper levels. Many units
are basic accommodations, and are simply furnished. The -01 corner units
on each floor are larger. Mostly gay clientele. King beds in the
-01 units (except for the 601 with two double beds) and 605 and 8th floor
units. Cable TV in units on the 2-9 floors. Many units from 4th floor
up have a CD sound system and VCR, as well as a microwave. The building
has an elevator; there is maid service three times a week. Spanish,
English and French spoken fluently by the office staff. For additional
persons in winter months add $17.55 per night extra per person; add $11.70
per person during Value seasons. Check in at 4pm, check out at noon.
Payment:
A 50% deposit by cashier or official bank money order sent via FedEx or
DHL, and then remainder paid upon arrival as cash or traveler's checks.
Also has bank account in US and Canada for direct deposit or wire transfer.
Does not accept credit cards.

4. Villa
David - Gay Bed and Breakfast - Old Town/Downtown
A very charming and beautiful bed
and breakfast built in the old-world Mexican hacienda style. Each of the
ten bedrooms has cable tv, CD player clock radio, ceiling fans, private
bath and maid service, and six bedrooms have balconies. The downstairs
bedrooms (without balconies) now have a/c. There is a large open living
room with VCR, stereo and cable TV and an open dining room and kitchen
area. The courtyard contains a patio garden and a heated swimming pool
that is clothing optional, and the rooftop sun deck terrace with its jacuzzi
has a nice bay view. This is a spacious and warmly decorated B&B with
lots of lovely plants and is a very good value. The host is known for his
geniality. Four new rooms were added last summer, all with high ceilings;
a terrace with full bay view has also added. Two blocks up from downtown
near the cathedral. Full breakfast. Short walk to the gay bars, restaurants
and shopping. Accepts VISA and MasterCard.

One of Vallarta's most luxurious
gay bed and breakfast in upper Conchas Chinas. The villa features a spacious
living and dining area, stereo and CD player, an infinity swimming pool,
original paintings and sculptures, large sun deck terrace and rooftop sunning
areas. The two larger guest rooms, with 1,100 sq. ft. each, have their
own jacuzzi tubs in the very large private baths also equipped with open
showers, grand over-sized mirrors and double marble sinks. The three guest
rooms each have king sized beds, huge tropical louvered windows and balconies
with stunning ocean views, 12 foot ceilings, marble floors, private sitting
area, A/C, walk in closets, television and VCR. If desired, drinks
and snacks can be prepared for your arrival, and again at cocktail hour.

8. Arco Iris - Gay Bed and Breakfast -
Conchas Chinas
A unique bed and breakfast and gay
accommodation is set atop the exclusive Conchas Chinas area on the south
end of Puerto Vallarta. There are two casitas or small houses, oneof which
have three bedrooms and the other with four bedrooms. Each house has a
common living and kitchen area, cable television, VCR, full maid service
and a dipping pool and private sunbathing area which is clothing optional.
The whole house or individual rooms may be rented. Includes tropical breakfast
and free sunset margarita parties on the common terrace during the tourist
season. Because of its hillside location, this lovely place has some of
the most spectacular views of any gay accommodation. The owners are noted

This lovely bed and breakfast, a
jewel in the heart of Vallarta's old town, consists of three houses built
in the traditional Old World Mexican Hacienda style totaling some 10,000
square feet. Common areas include sunken living rooms, covered terraces
and large dining area. A beautiful patio and swimming pool area are also
available for your relaxation. The bedrooms and living areas are filled
with beautiful antique furnishings and original artwork. One block to Los
Muertos beach. An appetizing full breakfast is served daily, as well as
hors d'oeurves and champagne at 5:00pm. Evening turn down bed service and
laundry service are also pleasant features of this B&B. Does not accept
