Puerto Vallarta Bay and Town View
Villa Four Bedrooms - Ref. CTA-4
While filming “The Night of the Iguana” in the early '60s, director John Huston rented this villa to enjoy the fabulous hillside panoramic views of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay. One of the original houses in the Gringo Gulch area, architect James Meares, a designer of Los Angeles Dorothy Chandler Music Pavilion, recently remodeled it adding contemporary flair so that it is now professionally decorated and with an impressive art collection. The villa's central location makes it an easy walk to Los Muertos beach and steps away from shops, fine restaurants and the Malecon boardwalk downtown.
The entry level has 3 bedrooms - two with queen bed and the other with two twin beds - all with private baths. The living, dining, kitchen, sitting areas and a spacious big patio are also on this level. The upstairs master suite has a king bed, fireplace, open-air shower/bathtub and matrimonial sunken tub with French doors that open to the garden and jacuzzi terrace. The jacuzzi/splash pool holds eight people and this terrace with lounge chairs and tables is ideal for sunning, lunch or drinks.
Villa amenities include Master suite and three bedrooms, five bathrooms, jacuzzi/splash pool, cable TV, a/c in three bedrooms, telephone, stereo/CD players, laundry service and two fireplaces.
