CCA-11  Lower Conchas Chinas villa - Historical walled estate on charming Santa Barbara street perfect setting for large groups and family reunions. This villa became famous as the meeting place for President Richard Nixon and Mexican President Gustavo Diaz Ordaz in August 1970. The original owner built it when Conchas Chinas was still a virgin beach front paradise, after selling his previous villa Casa Kimberly in Gringo Gulch to Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor in 1964.

The design exudes classic mexican charm with fountain and courtyard at the gated entrance, red tile roof, louvered wood doors, tile floors and baths, sprawling common areas and fabulous views of town and bay. There is a beautiful sandy beach down a stairway and the villa is close enough to walk to Los Muertos beach in town.

The main entertaining area features an expansive living area that opens onto a spacious terrace with spectacular views. The pool area is one level down and has a palapa covered deck with dining area.

Multi-level architecture with separate casita down a winding stairway closer to the water. The main villa features 8 bedrooms with private baths. One bedroom is a small room that adjoins the Master suite seating area with king bed and a partition. Another bedroom is a small room on the lower level with a double bed, best suited for a single person or kids. Total of 7 king beds, 3 queen beds and 1 single (rented as an 8 bedroom villa: 7 kings and 1 queen bed).

The casita, set in lush tropical gardens overlooking the ocean, has 3 bedrooms, living area, kitchen and its own heated pool.

Property features: 11 bedrooms, all with ocean views, private bath, a/c and TV, eight bedrooms in main villa, three bedrooms in the lower guest house Casita, two heated pools, balconies, decks and patios, Jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender and a purified water system, DVD player, phone, internet wireless, iron and ironing board, washer and dryer, ceiling fans, two parking spaces. Full staff daily except Sun and local holidays. Two meals a day, breakfast and lunch or dinner will be prepared (not including cost of food or drinks).

Located oceanfront in Conchas Chinas residential area, less than one mile south of Old Town; beach access down a stairway; Vallarta's main Los Muertos beach a pleasant 5-7 minute walk. Pets not allowed; smoking ok.

Can be rented as an eight (8) bedroom villa with max. of sixteen (16) guests, or as an eleven (11) bedroom villa with twenty one (21) guests maximum. Five (5) nights min except holidays.

Rates: Eight (8) bedroom villa: Eight (8) bedroom villa: Nov 1-Dec 18, $2100 per night; Dec 19-Jan 6, $2800 per night; Jan 7-Apr 30, $2100 per night; May 1-Oct 31, $910 per night. Rates include taxes.

Final payment due at 60-65 days before arrival. Holiday rentals 100% due 90-95 days prior to arrival. All reservations subject to a $1,000 USD refundable security deposit which is held for my clients in case of damages. All events must be approved prior to reservation and are subject to a fee equal to one night rental fee.
