Puerto Vallarta Three Bedroom Penthouse Beach Front Condo - Ref. PM-3

Very luxurious seventh floor three bedroom beach front penthouse suite on Los Muertos beach in one of the South Side's newer condominium buildings, with 33 units. This lovely and unique condo has more than 7,000 sq. ft. of total living space including over 2,000 sq. ft. of terrace and outdoor living area. The penthouse features two king beds and two doubles, three and one half baths, fully equipped kitchen, fireplace in the large living room, wrap around balcony with incredible city, bay and mountain views, cable television, VCR, jacuzzi, air conditioning, BBQ and bar. The penthouse is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained.  There is a common rooftop pool and terrace, as well as a beach front restaurant. One of the most luxurious condos in all of Vallarta (see photos below). The building is located in the main South Side area and so is close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Maximum of 8 persons. Sorry, no pets or children under 14 years of age.  Cook is available for extra charge. It is also customary to tip the concierge, Marcia, as she will certainly make your stay easier, more comfortable and more enjoyable.

House Tour:  A large stained glass heron graces the center of the hand carved wooden front door; all the wood in PM-3 Penthouse is parota, a rare hardwood of Mexico. The white heron is featured again in an arched window of the dining room, designed by master artist Carlos Albarron of Guadalajara. He was commissioned to create most of the glasswork in the apartment.  Three of his beautiful works shed brilliant colors across the white floors and walls of the dining room with two of the windows framing the corner waterfall. Under the cupola - soaring more than twenty feet - the thick glass dining table seats six comfortably and is served by the back-mirrored built-in sideboard also carved from parota.

Across from the dining room is a small, cozy TV alcove. Sprawl on one of the equipal sofas and enjoy local cable TV, watch a video, curl up with one of the many good books available or just take a siesta. A dedicated line to the Internet and a fax/answering machine will keep you in touch with those back home.

Kitchen:  Not only lovely but very functional, this room has, besides two full-size refrigerators, an electronic-start gas range with convection oven; a microwave and dishwasher; triple sink and all the small appliances necessary as well as service for twelve. An island in the middle of the kitchen contains a built-in spice cupboard and the overhead rack holds a myriad of saucepans. Also there is a parota wet-bar... a great place from which to serve food and/or keep the cook company!

Living Room: Up two steps from the bar and adjacent powder room (half bath) is the living area. The walls are made of mostly glass and some wood, as are all the penthouse's exterior walls. A beautiful gas fireplace flanked by plate glass windows adds a romantic touch to the equipal sofas, white wicker chairs and the enormous cupola with its huge brass chandelier

Bedrooms: The east wing of Penthouse contains two large guest bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and a bathroom with shower; the other with two double beds. The latter bedroom contains the only piece of etched/leaded glass in the house. Every morning the rising sun fills this room with prisms of light. The huge tiled tub/shower was designed for a long soak. A private terrace overflowing with and an ever blooming topiary garden joins these bedrooms. Delicate wrought iron table and chairs invite a cup of coffee to greet the morning sun.

On the opposite end of the penthouse overlooking Los Muertos Beach is the Master bedroom. The walk-in closet/dressing room contains a large dresser and assorted beach toys, which are provided for you to enjoy including towels, chairs, umbrellas, sun hats, coolers, air mattresses etc.  The master bedroom contains a bidet, two vanity sinks, shower and Jacuzzi bath in a blend of rich burgundy, gold, and pink-veined marble walls and floors. The mirrored headboard of the king-size bed reflects the corner fireplace, the Bay of Banderas and the flocks of frigate birds and pelicans soaring by. A closer look can be had from the small private sitting area on the terrace next to the Jacuzzi; an intimate spot to indulge in another glorious sunset.

Terrace: From the covered breakfast nook off the kitchen to the stocked wet bar (from which one can serve to three sides), to the outdoor gas BBQ grill, to the new Jacuzzi overlooking the beach; all of this surrounded by dazzling scenery, warm days, spectacular sunsets, lovely manicured gardens - all to the sound of waves breaking on the sand below.
